Born in Lebanon in 1983 and in Dubai since 1985. "Aiisha"'s profound approach to fashion originates from an innate sense of style and design, fine-tuned by her years of academia at the American University where she graduated in Fashion Design in 2002. While studying, she won several awards such as the 'Young Designer of the Year' award in 2000 by Swarovski in the evening wear category. Aiisha's love for everything grand led her to develop her talents as a Stylist on international TV shows, a Haute Couture, wedding gowns and evening wear, using only the finest imported and sometimes exclusively produced silks in earthy tones and the more run of the mill fabrics left to everyday wear.
The "Aiisha" label displays her talents in haute couture fashion and has worked in collaboration with Swarovski and a high-end Pret-a-Porter with NOKIA. After showcasing at the Dubai Fashion Week, the PRISM collection successfully toured around the Middle East.
Regularly seen in the pages of fashion magazines, "Aiisha" is a member of several prestigious organizations, such as the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), and Margit Publications. Fortunately for us, she has recently turned her talents to develop a range of highly sought-after hand-beaded leather bags and shoes under the Calonge brand.
