  2. Rent by the day or by week as often as you like.
  3. When you're ready for something new, simply place a new order!
  4. If you fall in love with an item, you can Buy It! We will evaluate the handbags age, condition and how easy it will be to replace-then we will let you know the appropriate price.

How do I return the handbag back to mapochette.com

Returning the handbag which you've enjoyed is quick and easy. You agree to a length of time you wish to hire the handbag for and agree a time for collection from your home or work address. Our driver will be there at the allocated time to collect the handbag from you.

How do I cancel a return?

You may wish to hold onto to your fabulous accessory a little while longer. In this case, contact our handbag hotline on 050 9032569 to enquire if you can hold onto it for a while longer. However, be aware that you may be disappointed and not always be possible as the handbag may have another hot date somewhere else in town!

When is my credit card charged for item rental?

Your credit card is charged straight away for the rental charge and just like a hotel would do the cost of the bag will be put on hold until the bag is returned. The money which is on hold will only be taken from your account is the bag is not returned as a security.

Do you accept cheques or cash for rental?

Sorry, at this time we are not accepting cheques or cash for bag rental.

Do you accept cash for purchase of bags?

Yes we accept cash for bag purchase only.

How long will it take to receive my item after you receive my request?

As soon we receive your request, we check our inventory to confirm the availability of the item you requested to borrow. If it is available, and you placed your order before 12 noon you will receive your item the next day. We will call you first and the package will be sent to the address you mentioned when making your booking unless otherwise stated.

Can I pre-book the handbag of my choice in advance?

Yes, we can take bookings up to one month before so you can ensure you have the handbag of your choice for that special event.

Are these replicas or originals?

Each and every item made available is 100% original. You never have to be embarrassed by wearing a "fake" when you have a mapochette bag!!.

Are these "new" items? What condition are the items in?

All of our items are either "new" or in "like new" condition in order to comply with mapochette.com company standards .

Occasionally I see an item on your site one day and not the next, why is that?

We are constantly adding designers and items to our collection so new items appear on a daily basis. If you no longer see an item, this normally means that we have stopped carrying that item.

What if the item I'm borrowing becomes dirty or breaks?

We hope you care for our items as if you were borrowing them from one of your friends and that you'll return the item in much the same way you received it. We understand that there will be everyday wear and tear and there is no additional fee assessed in these instances. However, if the item is abused, broken beyond everyday wear and tear or lost, your account will be charged a reasonable repair or replacement fee. Some items, however, are not easily replaceable and a fee, up to full retail replacement, may be charged. What is the Wait List?

Your Wait List lets us know which items you want to borrow and in what order. Once the items you've marked active become available, and your name is at the top of the list, the items will automatically be shipped to you. You can even set the limit of how many items you'd like to have shipped at any one time.

What happens if I fall in love with an item and want to keep it? Can I buy it?

Yes you can buy it, just call our handbag hotline number and speak to our handbag specialists who will be happy to take your request and then get back to you once we have evaluated the bag in order to confirm a price.
